We are a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to discovering, nurturing, and empowering young people through music and the performing arts. Born out of personal experience and a deep love for youth, our initiative was founded to give hope to young people who may feel unseen, unheard, and unsure of their purpose.
We believe that music is more than entertainment—it is a powerful tool for healing, transformation, and self-expression. At Ivaste, we create safe spaces for young voices to be heard through singing, songwriting, dance, poetry, drama, and performance training. Our programs target underprivileged and at-risk youth, helping them uncover their potential and build confidence in who they are and who they can become.
Through local training sessions, school visits, music projects, mentorship, and community events, we help youth rise above their circumstances and tell their stories. Every beat, every lyric, and every movement is a step toward self-discovery and leadership.
Our impact extends across Uganda and beyond, including meaningful partnerships and training sessions with youth in Kenya and international supporters who share our passion for the arts and social change

Our Core Values
Ivan Sembatya is the visionary founder of Ivaste Youth Talents, a creative leader, songwriter, and youth mentor who rose from the shadows of hardship to become a light for others.
